It’s a wrap! The Value Based Healthcare Summer Course 2024 was a success! It’s safe to say that with 15 lectures, a working visit to the Erasmus MC and an interactive panel discussion it was a full but inspiring course. We welcomed speakers and participants from all over the world to learn and share experiences. The interaction between the speakers and the participants made this summer course to the success it was!

During these three days in Room Mate Bruno in Rotterdam, over 15+ lectures, including use cases and interactive sessions, were presented by inspiring speakers. Both during and in-between the presentations, participants had the opportunity to ask their questions to and start interesting discussions with the speakers, who are true experts in the field of value based healthcare. Furthermore, an interactive roundtable discussion was facilitated with pioneering representatives from different perspectives. In addition, after a short walk through Rotterdam, a visit to Erasmus Medical Center was part of the program of this year’s summer course.

Participants got an in-depth understanding of the how, what and why of value-driven care, patient involvement in improving quality of care and the collection and application of quality and outcome indicators. After following this 8th edition of our summer course, they left Rotterdam equipped with the skills to create meaningful change for patients.
