at the Erasmus MC

Since the start at the end of 2013 the Erasmus MC has been at the forefront of implementing VBHC into daily clinical practice. It is our believe that the starting point for achieving value in any health care system is to measure outcomes that really matter to our patients. In the end, this will improve healthcare quality not only on a global scale, but also individually, for the patient.
Our step-by-step organization wide approach on implementing all different aspects of VBHC focuses on continued learning and improvement on all levels. We started pioneering, together with highly engaged healthcare professionals and patients, which changed into learning, growing and improving as we went along. And this process of constant learning and evolving keeps repeating as we move forward with our implementation.

Erasmus Value Based Healthcare courses

Naturally, we want to share the knowledge we gained from implementing value based healthcare and build a worldwide community of innovators that share knowledge and inspire each other to further implement value-driven healthcare, always patient-centered. One of the reasons Erasmus MC organizes yearly courses and training in Value Based Healthcare in collaboration with various partners.
