Welcome!
For many years, Erasmus MC has been organizing courses related to the theory and implementation of value based healthcare (VBHC). Building on insights out of their own experience and international projects with various partners, courses are developed in order to support healthcare professionals with improving quality and outcomes of care for patients.
Value Based Healthcare
It is our believe that the starting point for achieving value in any healthcare system is to measure outcomes that really matter to our patients. Value based healthcare is a framework for restructuring healthcare systems with the overarching goal of increasing value for patients, with value being defined as the outcomes achieved relative to the costs. It means providing the best care possible using the resources in an efficient way and achieving optimal results for each patient, that delivers lasting benefits for all.
Increase your knowledge regarding VBHC and join our 8th edition of the value based healthcare summer course 2024, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
