Biography

Urška Košir is an expert in adolescent and young adult (AYA) oncology services and cancer policy. Her work focuses on health literacy, mental health, and the integration of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) into cancer care. She has led work within large European consortia, as well as industry-led projects. Her expertise includes quantitative and qualitative research, evidence synthesis, and broad stakeholder engagement. Urška currently works as a research manager at the Swedish Institute for Health Economics (IHE) and remains a patient advocate with Youth Cancer Europe. Previously, she advised the Council of Europe and the Slovenian Ministry of Health. She is also a former lecturer at the University of Oxford’s Department of Experimental Psychology.
